A leading global technology company, Zoho Corporation, today reached a new milestone as it now serves 100 million users across its 55+ business applications.
This expansion follows the company’s achievement of reaching $1 billion in annual revenue last year. Zoho has consistently offered accessible technology and promoted sustainable growth. Over the past 15 years, the company has seen its user base grow from 1 million users in 2008 to an impressive 100 million users. Notably, the last 50 million users joined within the past five years. Zoho is deeply appreciative of the unwavering support of its 700,000+ customers spanning across more than 150 countries.
Crucially, Zoho has experienced this growth in a responsible manner without seeking external funding. This approach enables the company to uphold its long-term vision and corporate culture without external pressures or influences.
Furthermore, this approach keeps Zoho firmly committed to its core values, including achieving growth without incurring debt and serving customers in close proximity to their needs, a testament to the company’s global-local strategy.
Sridhar Vembu, the Co-founder and CEO of Zoho Corp, expressed gratitude towards their customers for entrusting them with their business and helping the company reach 100 million users worldwide. He emphasized that achieving this milestone is especially significant for Zoho as a bootstrapped company that has never relied on external capital. Vembu also hinted at an exciting innovation pipeline spanning the next decade, with a focus on advanced technologies to serve billions of users worldwide.
In the first half of the year, Zoho successfully conducted 13 Zoholics user conferences, including Zoholics Kenya. Over the next eight weeks, the company plans to host 18 more Zoholics events in 16 different countries, bringing the total to 31 user events across 27 countries in 2023.
In Africa, Zoho has plans to hold Zoholics Egypt in October, followed by Zoholics Nigeria in November. In August, Zoholics South Africa took place in Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town.
The Zoholics events exemplify Zoho’s commitment to transnational localism, as the company believes that proximity to its customers enables the development of practical, trusted, and customer-centric solutions.
