Chronicles Software Plans to Splash Best WAEC Students in Lagos State with N2 million in its SuccessBOX Excellence Award for Outstanding Academic Performance

Chronicles Software, an education technology company, has announced its plan to award a cash prize of N2 million to outstanding students in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in Lagos State as part of its SuccessBOX Excellence Award program.

The SuccessBOX Excellence Award has a twofold purpose: to honor remarkable academic achievements and foster a culture of academic distinction among students. This prestigious award will acknowledge the top-performing students in the WAEC examinations, taking into account their overall grades, including their performance in vital subjects like Mathematics, English, and Science.

Expressing his perspective on the award, Mr. Oluwakoyejo Oluwatosin, the CEO of Chronicles Software, emphasized the significance of recognizing and celebrating academic excellence. He further conveyed the company’s dedication to assisting students in realizing their academic aspirations. The SuccessBOX Excellence Award serves as an inspiring incentive for students to strive for greatness in their studies and tap into their full potential.

The award comprises an impressive cash prize of 2 million naira, to be distributed among the ten best-performing students in the WAEC examinations. Additionally, each of these outstanding students will be presented with a certificate of excellence and be granted complimentary access to Chronicles Software’s SuccessBOX exam preparation software, facilitating their continuous educational growth.

The highly anticipated award ceremony is scheduled to take place in October 2023 and will be graced by distinguished guests, including prominent government officials, educators, parents, and, of course, the deserving students. This event will be an ideal platform to honor the students’ unwavering dedication and hard work while also underscoring the paramount importance of education and the transformative role of technology in the learning process.

Mr. Abayomi Abolaji, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education, commended Chronicles Software for their unwavering commitment to education and their efforts to promote academic excellence among students. He called on other companies and organizations to follow in the footsteps of Chronicles Software and invest in the education sector, emphasizing the positive impact such collaborations can have on the future of the country.

To be eligible for the prestigious SuccessBOX Excellence Award, students must have participated in the WAEC examinations and obtained A’s in at least seven core subjects. The selection process will be conducted with utmost transparency, focusing solely on merit to ensure fairness. The recipients of the awards will be honored in a live television and social media ceremony, providing a platform to showcase their achievements and inspire others on their academic journey.

Mr. Oluwatosin expressed the company’s enthusiasm for recognizing and rewarding the top-performing students in the WAEC examinations. He reaffirmed his belief that education holds the key to unlocking the boundless potential of the nation’s youth, and Chronicles Software is steadfast in their commitment to supporting these students throughout their academic endeavors.
